This year, we have three very intense, major US holidays all within the span of two days: Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, and Black Friday. Before you discredit it as not being a national holiday, you should take a minute to think of just how many people observe Black Friday. It’s also the one day a year on which different faiths and ideals come together and participate in the same national activity. Yes, Black Friday is a pristine example of peace and cooperation with your fellow human, and to ring in that glorious day, Walmart will be discounting some highly sought after video games. Truly a holiday miracle.Perhaps the most appealing sale is Walmart’s 250GB PS3 box that comes bundled with The Last of Us and Batman: Arkham Origins for just $199. TLOU is the video game version of literature, and if that weren’t appealing enough, the 12GB standalone PS3 is just $50 less than the two-game, 250GB bundle, so you’re really getting your money’s worth with the bundle. Nintendo’s odd non-3D 3DS, the Nintendo 2DS, will be marked down to just $99, making it the cheapest way to play Pokémon X or Y. Meanwhile, a 4GB Xbox 360 will be marked down to $99 as well, forcing you to make the tough choice of either catching ’em all, or finding out why they call it an Xbox 360.Some hot titles will be discounted to just $34 as well, and Walmart is promising at least one hour of guaranteed stock. Those titles include Grand Theft Auto V, Batman: Arkham Origins, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, and NBA 2K14. Call of Duty: Ghosts will be marked down to $39, rounding out the impressive sales. All of the games, though, are for PS3 and Xbox 360. Walmart has many more deals for the official national holiday, which you can check out in its flyer.
